Bernard Gottlob  (1837-1919)

Bernard was originally from Essentho, Germany. Immigrated to USA in 1853,

and lived in Alton, IL.  Bernard married Maria Louise Altevogt.

Children:  Joseph, William, Fredericka (Boss) and Louise (Singer).

Bernard served in the 13th US Infantry during the Civil War.
